VOICES

[At least I know it!]

Of the voices that surround us,
Some delight and some confound us.
Some are sharp and shrill and carping,
Some are sweet as angels harping
Voices bossy, life explaining,
Voices whinging, cross, complaining.
Some are grousing, sad, distressing,
Some are loving, ever blessing.
Voices mumble, voices grumble,
All around the voices rumble.
Some quite hellish, some divine:
The one I can hush up is - mine.
